Wow! A month has already flown by! Thank you all for making September so great! We will definitely keep this momentum going into this month. To start it off right, here’s everything you need to know about BCity Reps for the month of October.
In order to make this studio the best it can be for our students, we will be holding a few fundraisers this year. This month we will be having a raffle. Raffle tickets will be given to each student beginning with classes on October 5, 2018. The prices for each raffle ticket is $2.00. All purchased raffle tickets will need to be turned in by October 30, 2018. We will be drawing three names on November 1, 2018 and the winners will be notified. Below is the list of prizes for the raffle. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to making this year the best year yet!

Bring Da Hype
Come show your support for the BCity Dance team as they dance in their first competition of the year! It will be held at the Melnea A. Cass Recreation Complex on October 20, 2018 at 4pm. Tickets can be purchased online for $20.00 (with a fee) or at the door for $25.00. You can purchase tickets and learn more about the event at the link below.
Halloween is right around the corner, so why not celebrate in the studio? Come to class the week of October 22, 2018 to October 27, 2018 in your costume. We can’t wait to see you all dressed up!
Adult Drop-in Class
The Thursday 8:30pm Adults Drop-in Class is now going to be held monthly instead of weekly. The date of the upcoming class will be announced on all of our social media accounts (bcityreps) and in the newsletter. The next class will be held on October 25, 2018 at 8:30pm. The cost of the class is $10.00.
Students should be properly dressed for each class they attend, including having the proper dance shoes:
Contemporary: Dancers may wear leggings, fitted tanks/tops, leotards, spandex shorts or wear shorts, skirts, capris or jazz pants over their leotards. Any fitted tops may be worn over the leotards. Shoes should be toe undies/ foot paws, or students can choose to dance barefoot.
Breakdancing/Hip Hop: Comfortable clothes, t-shirts, leggings, sweat pants, sweat shirts, hoodies, etc (No jeans!). For shoes, please wear comfortable sneakers. For the hip hop class, student also has the option of wearing combat boots.
Please be courteous and respectful of everyone in the studio. We would like it to be a safe and comfortable environment. Please be aware that we do not tolerate rudeness and disrespect towards one another.
